Kenya Kamoko - 12 oz.

This exciting coffee is produced on family-owned farms located on the southeastern slopes of the Aberdares mountain ranges in Nyeri County, Kenya. Farmers deliver their harvested cherry to be processed at the Kamoko Factory (wet mill), which is managed by the Othaya Farmers Cooperative Society. Cooperative members generally cultivate around 250 coffee trees on half-acre plots intercropped with Bananas, Grevillea, and Macadamia trees. SL-28 & SL-34 varietals of the coffee plant, along with the unique terroir of the region result in this lively coffee full of sweetness, juiciness, and complexity.

We've been lucky to have roasted coffees from several of the Society's other Factories (including Thuti and Karuthi) are super excited to have one from the Kamoko Factory this year.  It's another great example of a high-quality Kenyan coffee, with tasting notes of berries, red grapes, rounded out by some chocolate brownies.  It's a lovely layered cup that becomes more complex as it cools. A truly delicious coffee experience!
