Our newest limited-offering hails from the Nyeri region of Kenya. Karindundu is one of four processing mills within the Barichu Cooperative where farmers with small coffee plots pool their coffee at the wet mill to create shippable-lots, the coffee is pulped, washed with river water, and sun-dried. SL-28 & SL-34 varietals of the coffee plant, along with the unique terroir of the region result in this lively coffee full of sweetness, juiciness, and complexity. Karindundu coffee is an excellent example of a high-quality Kenyan coffee, with tasting notes of honey, blackberry and stone fruit. A truly delicious coffee experience!
