This coffee is notable for its rich, full body and lingering sweetness. The deeper chocolate and vanilla tones are complemented by a medium, cherry-like acidity.
Origin & Producer
Our Panamanian partner, K&R Specialty Coffee, has selected top lots from small producers in the Boquete district of Panama, a growing region famous for producing some of the world's best coffees. The coffees that comprise the blend are grown on a combined 80 hectares and consist of many arabica varietals.
More Backstory ...
We met Tony Ruiz of K&R Specialty Coffee in June of this year where we were lucky to have him at the roastery for a month as part of his Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative(YLAI) fellowship. His passion for coffee, vision for his company, and the future of Panamanian coffee made a huge impression on us. Plus, Tony is just one of the nicest people you'll meet. Tony also hosted a tasting of five fabulous coffees sourced by him and his family. This Boquete blend is one of the coffees that stood out to us and the reason we're not able to share it with you.
