Delivery Driver & Production Assistant (full-time)

This position is part of our Production team and is responsible for assisting with the smooth operation of key production and distribution functions.
In addition to carrying out daily production tasks, this requires:
- An eye toward continuous improvement of operations
- Assisting managers in identifying opportunities for improving production efficiency and safety
- Self-motivation and being comfortable route-planning, problem-solving, and working independently while they’re on the road, but is also able to work collaboratively with the rest of our team while at the roastery.
- The ability to provide excellent customer service to our wholesale accounts
- As is true for all employees, the Delivery Drive & Production Assistant is responsible for promoting Brio’s brand and product whenever the opportunity presents itself, representing our product and the company in the best possible light.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Running local deliveries
- Packing and shipping orders
- Blending coffee
- Preparing and filling bulk and retail coffee bags
- Brewing flash-chilled coffee
- Cleaning and maintenance of the production and distribution area and equipment
- Receiving and organizing green coffee and supply inventory
- Other duties as assigned
All tasks are to be carried out in coordination with and under the supervision of the Production Manager.
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Be good with people and working in a team environment
- Have a positive attitude, motivation to learn, and exceptional communication and listening skills
- Have the ability to be on their feet for extended periods of time
- Have an eye for detail, being able to think quickly, solve problems, and spot inefficiencies
- Be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and up to 75lbs assisted
- Have customer service experience (1 year preferred)
- Production experience (1 year preferred)

Type: Full-time; 40 hours per week
Schedule: Day shifts (8hours), Monday - Friday
Pay: $20/ hour
