FAQs

Shipping

Q: When do you roast and ship coffees for online orders?

A: All of our coffee is roasted to order. We roast Monday-Thursday. We ship freshly roasted coffee Tuesday through Saturday. Your coffee is shipped the day after roasting to ensure you receive it as freshest as possible.

Coffee

Q: How is your coffee roasted?

A: As you may have noticed that we do not list the roast level on our bags. We are in a constant pursuit of the perfect roast.  But the perfect roast for one coffee may not be the ideal for another. That is why we develop roasts specific to each coffees after evaluating and tasting it at various roast levels. Our roasts focus on accentuating each coffee's sweetness and bringing out the more nuanced flavor notes and acidity.

Q: Do you ship coffees whole bean or ground?

A: All of our coffees are shipped whole bean because it helps to preserve freshness. Coffee will taste best if brewed shortly after grinding. However, if you have a special grinding request, just leave us a comment in the Notes section of the checkout page.

General

Q: Do you serve coffee at your roastery?

A: We operate an espresso bar at our roastery where we feature a rotating selection of the coffees we are roasting and loving, with seasonal special and limited offering brews. We also work with a select group of cafes & purveyors who serve our coffee in the area.

Q: What if I want to serve or sell Brio coffee at my business/café?

A: We would love to connect and learn more about who you are and what you’re interested in. We’ll let you know our approach to wholesale partnerships and we can send you sample so you can become familiar with our roasting style. And we’ll go from there! Contact Magda.

Q: Does Brio donate coffee and product for events?

A: We strongly believe in supporting our community and we do make donations in the form of coffee, gift cards, or merchandise on a case by case basis. We have a budget limit for these donations so please email us and we’ll let you know if we’re able to meet your request.
