Producer & Processing
Coffees in Ethiopia are typically grown on very small plots of land by farmers who also grow other crops. The majority of smallholders deliver their coffee in cherry to the nearby Aricha washing station where their coffee will be sorted, weighed, and paid for. The cherries under a washed process and then are dried on raised beds.
