My brother exclusively drinks half caff, and Brio Half Caff is his new beloved go-to!
Love it!!
I haven't had a Brio coffee that I don't like. The half caff is perfect for me when I'm craving a cup of coffee but don't want all the caffeine.
In blind taste tests here at home in southern Maine or at my wife’s family retreat in northern Sweden, I can always pick out the Decaf by smell or taste, 100% of the time. In my opinion, there is always something a little “off” with the overall experience - perhaps the absence of the beans own natural Umami. Not so with Half-Caff. A subtle richness is still present, I think it may be in the cocoa notes, enough so that instead of drinking it only after supper when I first sampled it, I now reach for those beans for my 3rd cup of coffee at midday. My suggestion: Give a bag a squeeze in the shop, and decide for yourselves. I’m a fan though.
Very flavorful, and 1cup packs just enough caffeine high to get through the whole day!
